Angsumalin Phijaranasan -- Angie, to her friends -- is a senior interior designer at Bangkok firm PIA.
Angie is no slouch. She works with hospitality giants like India's Oberoi brand, has a master's degree in interior and spatial design from the Univeristy of the Arts in London and is constantly jetting around the world to keep on top of the latest design trends.
But does that qualify her to recommend a few Bangkok home décor shops? We think so. Here are four of her favorites:
Motif: Art of living
"If you are looking for something specific, like a sofa, chair, table or lamp, this is the place to go as they have a great selection of products imported from Europe -- mostly Italy.

The prices are a bit high but you can always wait until their big sale in which they usually offer 50%-70% discounts, once or twice a year."
